Eternal Darkness needs a sequel!

What Culture has done a list of the top 8 games they feel deserve a sequel and Eternal Darkness is their number 1 pick.

I still need to get my hands on a good copy of this game.

I keep hoping Eternal Darkness will make it to XBLA or PSN (though I prefer XBL). That would be awesome, though I guess it would require some sort of deal between Nintendo and SK since the IP rights are apparently really complicated.

Yeah I wish they made a hd rerelease. I was happy to find Blood Omen on PSN.

A would buy a sequel or an HD-release of Eternal Darkness 3 times.

I still have my gamecube disc, but i no longer have the console, and have no plans to buy a wii so i cannot play it again

I actually just played through this game again. It is a great concept and story. I know that it was compared as a Resident Evil ripoff, but it is so much better IMO. Good to see it finally getting some deserved recognition. Remember, the 1957 Ford outsold the 1957 Chevy about three to one. Who in their right mind would buy a 57' Ford over a 57' Chevy today?

Well, if Nintendo owns the IP, it won't come out of a Nintendo console.
Remember GoldenEye remake on XLA, cancelled when almost finished, thanks to Nintendo.

There is a Goldeneye remake coming out on Xbox live later this fall.

It's all about how you wrangle the license.

Hopefully an ED remake wouldn't be handled by Eurocom, though. They aren't so hot.

So I watched the whole Nintendo E3 presentation and there was never any mention of ED sequel anywhere! Very disappointing.
Nintendo's E3 was the worst of the 3 shows and to top it off not a single mention of a new Zelda or Metroid game.

If SK is really working on ED for the WiiU, it better be the best thing ever on that console because as of now I'm going to pretend it doesn't exist.
