Black Prism hmmm haven't heard of it. Are they all out yet, because I hate waiting for the rest of them.

Edit: Just looked it up. Same author as the Night Angel trilogy... I loved those books. Now I just need the rest of those books to come out so I don't have to wait praying to God that the author doesn't die in some horrific accident before they're all done.

That's cool but I hate it when I learn of a series of books when they're not done yet. I hate waiting. I find it worse than any other forms of media...

Just finished the Dark Tower series because I didn't put a lot of effort into reading and read other stuff in between. I loved it and its trippy ending was even good I thought.

Just finished some more of chelsea handler's books and the first two of the Moribito series which I believe are the only two in english so far. Wish the witcher series would be translated fully. Started the Malazan book of the fallen based upon this thread.

Last book I read was Phobos by Steve Alten. The third book in his Mayan 2012 trilogy. Domain, Resurrection, and Phobos. Resurrection and Phobos were both good. Domain is still one of my favorite books. Much like Dan Brown he blends fact, myth, and fiction together into a great story.

Okay I didn't really feel like creating a thread that will just not be looked at much because this place is pretty much comatose atm. How awesome is your local library though? I have two within a half hour walk or within 5 minutes of driving. I used to always go to the bigger one but now I just order evrything online and pick it up at the smaller one because they are so much more personal and friendly. If you need something they'll tell you how to get it or try to get it for you. I don't know if you're guys' librarys have the whole join forces to take over the world where they all team up for a retarded amount of books and movies and what not but mine do. I pretty much don't buy any books or movies I just borrow them now. Also they have remarkably low late fees and the smaller one even has a grace period for late stuff. Some of the bigger libraries even have video games there... I love it because they have such a freaking huge selection and all you need to do to join up is get a library card for free... So borders can pretty much suck my *** along with every other book store because why would I pay for something when I can get it for free. Also a bunch of them also have e-books now.
