i remember that game...i had two buddies that played it and liked it but had problems with speech recognition...but with all the Kinect related updates to the xbox itself i'd imagine that the mic might work better now...that is if some of that technology were to be applied to the mic

Played the demo, feels really improved. First game ever i preorder... N7 collector's edition and yes, i am excited as hell for this

The CE is insanely hard to find now. Amazon, BestBuy, Gamestop, and even Bioware directly are sold out. Last I looked Target and Buy.com were the only options for still trying to get a collector's edition.

Played MP with Milky,Dope, and Psycho and it was fun as hell!! Challenging as ****!

At one point in the game I had the chance to use a Krogan and I was smashing skulls all over the place!
TH was crack for me, ME.... is going to kill me!lol

Agreed. Horde-style multiplayer shouldn't be this addictive. I've played and played gears horde and firefight, but ME is completely revamping it. It compliments the races nicely. I've been using an infiltrator in hopes to get a drell vanguard. Or ANYTHING but the default characters. Those packs don't give me sh*t!!!!! >

I hope the actual game has a way to reallocate points. Nothing more annoying than investing in something and end up disliking it, only to find out you're stuck with it.

I've had this game preordered for a year, and when I decided I wanted the CE it was sold out... sad day

Does anyone know how to unlock more chars other than the packs or if there even is one? Just started playing the multi with two other of my friends and I love it. Charging gets me into trouble though... I really want to play as a drell or a salarian...

I couldn't agree more. You should be able to spend money (I could do 50k) on a character of your choice instead of a pack.

To help you with the vanguard (I assume it's human) there is a new ability in ME3 called "Nova" and it is exclusive to the vanguard and happens to compliment it nicely. Your character punches the ground, releasing his barrier in a biotic wave that emanates from him. The larger your shield used up, the stronger the nova. This leaves you vulnerable for a moment, but that isn't a problem thanks to the separate cooldown it has from the charge, thus letting you replenish barriers with a new charge. The vanguard can abuse the hell out of this ability which is awesome cuz it's a whole hell of a lot of fun to pull off. I had a lot of trouble with the vanguard too until I discovered this. I also added weapon damage bonuses for a bit of variety. Charge/nova/shotgun will literally tear through waves. I just led the last game by about 5000 points on silver.

Have to agree on the randomness of unlocks. It should really unlock other characters of the same kind as you level up or you should be able to buy them. So you could potentially unlock all the characters you don't want before you get the one you want and them have to totally level them up from level 1. That could put a real damper on the game. I sooo want a Quarian engineer with the bad@$$ turrets. Man they can tear a team a part.

Yeah that Charge/nova combo is insane. I did not realize they were on different charges till I saw some else doing in them we would just wipe mobs out with coordinated strikes. You can also through in a charged punch which kills most enemies once shield is down.

Does anyone else feel that the rifle is weak sauce without upgrades. I only have stability for it and if the enemy is not really close it takes more than a clip to kill them. With the pistol with no upgrades it seems to be more effective. Also can anyone get more than 2 weapons at once. I guess a solider might. But i invested in increase carrying weight and still could only carry 2 weapons. I should have gone with weapon damage.

So can you use nova after a charge because I can't seem to be able to... Not sure why I would want too though. PG I got the Quarian engineer from my starter pack but haven't used it yet. I love the salarian infiltrator though. Stealth revives combined with insane melee damage... I just saw a drell's melee today. Just say it's epic. Also PG what rifle are you using? The Mantis destroys for me.

I believe he's referring to the Avenger rifle, as it only has stability as an unlock in the demo. It's not terrible PG, but pistols are definitely better. Along with the new weight system, they're definitely your best bet.

And just to give you an idea, I completed bronze on solo today with my vanguard just to see if I could. Not only did I survive all 11 waves, I did so without using any d-pad support. For atlas I just charged, backed up and shot tempest, then charged again. Rinse and repeat, finish with nova. On bronze charge/nova kills EVERYTHING (including pesky phantoms) outright. So OP, soooo satisfying.

I was using the regular alliance rifle. Its the only one I have gotten so far.

Yeah good times. Can't wait for the game to drop next week. Will be cool to see what else they have in the full game. But yeah pistol and SMG rules as a combo.

Krogan FTW!!
I had a lot of fun playing as a Krogan soldier, but that's about the only class I played. I can see the the other players in my team were having as much fun with other classes as I was.
I cannot wait for this game man! lets get some gaming knights going!

You should try another three krogen in your game just meleeing. An Atlas goes down so fast...

Also just got a drell vangaurd and I love him. He runs ike he's on speed.

First of all, what's up with when the game comes out no one talks about it anymore? Second, why is there no toggle helmet for each squad member like in ME1? I mean I like the majority of the human's faces I have so far but if I have Garrus I really want him to cover up that ugly *** Turian face of his... Same with Krogen. Most alien's faces are ugly. Yes I'm xenophobic and whatever the fantasy term would be for against everything besides human, elf, and dwarf. And only sometimes dwarf...

Yeah I think people want to avoid spoilers and are playing. I am down for some multiplayer. It is fun even if it total overboosts your readiness.
