Consequently, I am going to the Administration office tomorrow and having my religion on my dog tags changed from "Agnostic" to "Malco, Bear God."

The one thing I find interesting about the Norse Mythos is that its completely out there... some of it...is just...weird...

All other forms of mythology can be rooted in some form of perspective, but the Norse Mythos are uniquely different in that regard.

Yes, unfortunately this genetic disposition which is essential for our survival (like mom telling you that the oven is HOT! and believing it without question) is the same one that propagates religious nonsense that most simply believe because that's how they were raised.

I was raised catholic, but never believed a word of it once I was old enough to be able to think about things. All the way through my private catholic schooling from as young as 8 I was thinking to myself....

"Are you ******* kidding me?! That makes no ******* sense whatsoever. Did you people bump your ******* heads!? WTF?!"

As the religious teachings progressed it just became more and more absurd to me. It was like everyone around me was on some crazy ******** space ship ride through the land of mushrooms and I wasn't invited.

Being a poor fool stuck living in Iowa, and having been raised here, I would gladly welcome the title of Land of the Evil. But Iowa isn't that noticeable, and therefore completely ignorable. Except around election time. This place becomes a hotbed of hot air.
