As you may or may not know; congress has decided to push back the date of the mandatory switch to digital broadcasting to june.

However, the switch's original February date is still going to be the date that many broadcasters are going to switch. This has caused what was going to be a seamless nation wide switch to change into what will be a patchwork of dates for the switches to happen.
so what was originally going to help the public to have more time to prepare( and the government more time to come up with money for those damned coupons) is only going to cause alot more confusion then help in the end.

i personally think they should have just stuck with the originally scheduled date for the switch what about you? Did you get your $40 coupon?

analog has been an out dated technology for over a decade. the government finally stepped in and made it mandatory for all broadcasts to switch to digital

the UKs 'digital switchover' started last year and wont be finished until 2012 (which is too late, as by then the vogons would have come), talk about progress (sarcasm)
