Do you have a favorite color rune setup for your armor/weapo

I like the "Irradiated" color rune. If you insert it in all your armor you'll have a mix of teal, gold, and blue that looks good on every piece of armor I've put it on.

Best color rune I've found so far is the Ruby one. The other reds I don't care for the look of.

I dig quite a few of them. Ice Wind and Cobalt Moon look the best to me so far.

Celestial pearl is the one i just splashed on my armor. gives a silver grey and light blue effect with black to fill the underarmor.

Malice and crimison bronze colors were nice but im left side def. wanted to show of the cold

Amythest is the best purple they have in the game. The ceremonial amythest is great too. You get a gold and purple mix on your armor.

Just to clarify, they do allow you to sample it? Before you purchase? So you don't need to buy random colours! Also, can you re-paint armour? :)

I don't thinkyou can sample them but you can definately repaint them. I once bought about 10 colors and just kept repainting my body armor piece to see what they looked like. That's how I found the Irradiated color.

I actually play around with this a lot. I am at work and cannot rememebr the name, Tranquility I think...anyways, it was blue and when the light hit the armor it would shift to green. It was the only option I have found with color shifting yet.

No you can't. Color runes can also have different effects depending on the weapon or armor. The dual swords with the light in the middle, if I use Ruby it turns white and the blade is like a stone color.

I don't think you can sample them before you buy. It is in the rune screen and I don't think that section allows that. The runes have a little color in them to give you an idea of what color you get but it is not exact.

You can repaint your armour and the runes only cost 100 at a time. But you need 8 to do your armor and weapons.

The color selection also changes everytime so if you find a color you like you should do it all at once, but it takes up rune spaces so it is a trade off.

So far it seems the Ceremonial adds gold to whatever the main color is.

I go with the flow as I don't really buy armor in the shop. However, it is a trend that my armors tend to be black with gold or black and silver. I don't like the colors to be loud. Sometimes I even pick a lower armor piece just to keep a cool style. :)

Level 1 color runes are 100 bounty a pop. Sometimes they might have a higher level color rune, for example a level 12 color rune is about 1200 bounty a pop.

You do NOT need an empty rune slot to color an item.

You can NOT color epic weapons.

You CAN color epic armor.

My favorite color is Brilliant Black. Its black armor with gold armor highlights and some neon green accents. Looks real nice on a BE :D

Speak - You don't need empty spots on the armor and weapons to add the color runes. But if you are holding them in inventory they take 1 of you 60 rune spot.

Oh you also cap out at 20 charm quests and 2 active ones. It is a good idea to socket runes in the charms as soon as possible. The game has salvaged some runes I needed to finish a charm before I could socket it before I released what was happening.

Moon - I hear you man. I have held on to some cool looking purple boots way too long just because I loved the look. I have some cool leggings now that have the a "glowing disks" of the side. It looks soooo cool in dark areas with the purple shine.

The higher level color runes are a waste of bounty, the same colors are available at level 1, though if you're rich and too lazy to keep rechecking the shop like me...

I will keep an eye out for those. But I like my purple pure. Which I guess is never really true because Purple is not a primary color and is a mixture of red and blue...oh well.

Not sure of the difference besides color. I do know there are also epic color runes. I had one, but before I could even use it, it was automatically salvaged.

The best color is by far Solar Flare its like a gold on your whole armor

Ya i love solar flare and irradiated the most... and I was so mad when I couldn't change the color of my epic weapon.. what kinda crap is that.

it varies. level 1 colors that you can buy from the store are pretty cheap.
the greater the lvl, usually the better the color....and greater cost.

Optic Rain is one of my current favs.

Royal Presence is my fav. Its royal blue with gold accents and on more complex armor like epic pieces it has red accents also. I have my full cyber BioE epic set decked out in it.
