I was wondering if anyone had unlocked theirs if they have one and what program/method they used to do so.

This isn't a place to spam anti-apple crap, because I don't care, I'm just looking for some tips.

Hmm, I have a friend who has done this. It requires flashing the bios I think, I'll ask him.

He gave me a link to this video:

I'm assuming you have second gen? I'm not sure if that can be applied to first gen, it probably can though.

Good Luck.

Nevermind, thanks for the info though. Seems as though Apple has put a lock on people just buying the phone without signing up with AT&T. Bunch o' monopolizing jerks.

That is correct spaz, but I've had a few friends whom have bought them used, and then unlocked them to use them on T-mobile...

True, but I bet the next thing they'll do is eliminate service plans for people not on AT&T service.

Please explain,I have no idea what "Rogers" is. Is he you older "friend" that spends time with all the little kids and then tells them not to tell their parents about him...?

But seriously ... Rogers = ???

don't all of them eventually. Why would you care if a thread stays open or not?

Seriously Spaz?

Threads do not serve the purpose of a single user. The off topic conversations they have seemed to have had in this thread are not useless. Don't request a thread to be stopped because it does not suit you anymore.

As long as it is not filled with images and discussion about each others mother, then it will stay open.

Not funny Lax, you are suddenly realizing Spaz's dream. Unfortunately for you, it may come with punishment. IF you continue.

Samski, all I did was play on the implausibility of what you said.

So...still feel like keeping this thread open?

samski

Nope, it will be closed. But i will be giving both you and lax warnings for purposely driving something off topic and pointless just to shove it in my face.

Smart move Spaz. Look, you got your thread closed, real mature.
