Just finished the game. Not bad.. However....

I just got done with the game at level 30.

My skill path was center and left cyber.

I got my *** handed to me trying to kill Hel. As I would die before I could get a combo charged up to run a ruiner.

Luckily I had maxed out Spirit of Fenrir and I was in that sequence so long that it had time to recharge. Managed to run a few ruiners to do some damage. Yes. I played that stage so long that I managed to charge up Fenrir during the battle when I had just used it before the battle :)

I also managed to unlock the Valkyrie's Folly achievement for dying so many times.

Also, it didn't help that ALL my equipment status was reduced to zero. Shockingly you die quick when your armour sucks ***. And you also dish out damage like you a wielding limp spaghetti.

Having OCD also doesn't help as I salvaged everything but orange and red blueprints and loot.

I basically ****ed myself. But had a great time doing it. :)

How did I finish it in the end?. I had to roll back down to my Orange coloured cannon which I decided to luckily keep. and finally managed to kill Hel with around 86 points left on the cannon.

Looking forward to maxing this build up to 50.

Haha I feel you with the OCD.. I have to salvage my inventory every area or so.
Congrats on finishing! and you will have a ton of fun leveling up to 50. I had a lot anyway.

I'm not meaning to mock, but you seem to be doing something wrong. What is your gear slotted for? What is your favored weapon and method of attack?

When I was in Hel I didn't die once. I'm BE human middle and right as human, no points in fenrir. What was killing you? I dominated everything and against Hel...I went through the whole fight with one health bar, 3 combo, and only half my health lost.

I melee'ed the entire fight. After she moved I hit her with a grenade each time(didn't reload, it recharged). The grenade kept her from shooting me for the time I closed and once there she shot for one second and wasn't too much at melee. I did a finisher each attack and she'd move. I didn't even use my spider.

I WILL be playing a BE Cyber because that does seem interesting as well.

My armor was primarily orange with (MAXED): 2hand damage, armor, attack speed, strength. Weapon slotted for it's type of damage.

Shoot the generators first thing when you get into the rooms. It greatly reduces her ability to life drain you and makes the fight 100x easier. After the generators are gone you should be able to win easily no matter what, just keep the undead population down with grenades and shoot grenades at Hel in between waves. It's slow but effective.

Lol, same thing happened to me. No Valkrie Achievement, but I died at least 30+ times in that fight, because Fenrir charged twice *lol*. I was just shotting her with my (blue ranked) laser mainly, because whenever I tried to hit her with my Shaper of the Fjords (an Elite item, kthanks), she would just block.

If your GT is refering to the CHERUB books, they are bloody amazing. Best books i have read in a long time.

Heh. No worries.

What killed me?

Bad tactics and armour that was down to zero. I didn't realise it until I figured I was dying way to quick in the final battle. As I was salvaging everything I didn't have a spare set of armour and the blueprints I had were for Orange eq that I did not have the level for or enough bounty to craft.

I'm pretty sure I'll be doing much better in my second run through.

I've made it to level 45 now looking forward to get some lovely level 50 loot.
