View Full Version : My Problematic Experiences with Too Human and first post

Now that I'm nearly through with it & on the last level, I can clearly say that it's a horrible game worthy of a lower score than what Game Spot gave it. I hate to say that since I was pretty happy with the demo earlier. The demo was fun, hell, even part of the game up to the last level, but the last level is a completely unforgivable piece of crap...unless you like dying all the time & leveling up as you die & the level-up does nothing to keep you from dying further...basically dying your way through the level. Who likes doing that??
Also, they give you a 5-point achievement score for dying 100 times. What a treat. When they were thinking of inserting that achievement, about dying 100 times, they should have been thinking: you know we ought to fix this game. They should have made it 11 years to release it instead of 10. Bottomline: if this is what we have to look forward to with the next two games in the trilogy, they should just dissolve the franchise & company.
It's harsh, but it's better than getting frustrated from a source of alleged entertainment. Here are a few other things I observed in my heightened sense of agitation.
There is a load of dumbness about the game. One thing is the map. You walk around on these huge roads. You have all this hi-tech gear, but you don't have a motorcycle or golf cart or anything to move faster from one long stretch of road to the next.
The next thing are the items: you collect these rare, expensive items & they don't make a difference. If they make you more powerful, will it matter in the sequel? If a sequel comes out & you have all of these powerful items, do they get transferred to the new game? If they don't really do any good for fighting monsters, what good is it to transfer them?
Then there is 'cyberspace'. They could have used these forest/cyberspace areas for further storylines or even more as a puzzle quest to unlock other areas of the real-world map. However, all they do is offer loot droppings locations. Only in the demo/first level do they actually get used in a puzzle-like way. The demo makes you think that further levels will have complex locks in cyberspace & puzzles to figure out. There isn't anything in the other three non-demo levels!
The challenge levels of the first demo, are no where to be found. If you stumble into one, if you get killed it locks you out & auto-saves to make sure you can't get back in. Sure enough, except for the demo secret rooms, the other rooms kill you off quite easily with streams & streams of monsters.
The storyline is cryptic & ridiculous. The home base where you collect things or get on with your quests are 100% linear. Just go to a map & it states two things: You Are Here with a location GO HERE to the next part of the story! It completely removes the thinking process. There are no multiple paths, there is no haggling, there is nothing that makes it feel like you are part of an RPG...so I don't know why it tries to put in a few elements at all. If you were to compare to Ultimate Alliance, UA is years ahead in terms of quality & the way it works with everything syncing together for an enjoyable & lengthy game.
To me, it seems Too Human kills you a lot in an effort to keep you from finishing the game too fast. If the mobs were easy to get past when you leveled up, the game would probably only take 3-4 hours to finish. So the short game is made long by setting it to a nightmare difficulty & then having the Valkryie waste your valuable spare time scooping up your corpse! How about giving us a SKIP sequence???
Frankly, after thinking about the game & writing up a review of sorts, I'd probably give this game a 2 or 3 out of 10 stars. They didn't finish this game before they released. This release should have been the beta for QA to test.
Another bad element of the game was that it didn't drop enough health to keep you alive as the mobs constantly knocked your health down to zero. Several times, I found myself with 1 second to live, or worse, the death cinematic sequence, AND THEN see a health icon drop down, when I can't reach it & it doesn't do me any good.
The masses are wrong about the mechanics of TH game being bad. That is probably the best part compared to the overall playability of the game. It's just a half-baked release of a game that didn't have everything fleshed out & the developers throttled it up to Nightmare mode to keep people from finishing it in 2-3 hours.
Lastly, attacking zombies & robots is getting tiresome. Can't they come up with any other creatures to blast? There isn't enough variety in the type of mobs you have to kill. Which is yet another reason the game has that half-baked feel to it. Mass Effect had zombies & robots to attack too, so there was too much overlap in the game since you could just go back to enjoy Mass Effect rather than TH, since at least in Mass Effect, the harder difficulty setting was workable & could be throttled down if it was too hard (fortunately that was never the case).
I still want to finish Too Human, I am on the last level, but I don't look forward to the infinite deaths it's going to take to finish it. I mean, heck, I have completed Halo 3 in Legendary mode & I'm calling Too Human too hard a game to play! That has to have some merit.

i beat too human my first play through only dying like 56 times...
so maybe you just need to get a strategy?
i find the game to be toooo easy, as many other people on here do.
its easy to beat the entire game without dying once.
i have all the unstoppable achievements just like most people,
so you must be doing something wrong. lol
just my opinion.
TL;DR, welcome to the forum.
EDIT: upon reading your post, I have only one thing to say. L2P.

Indeed. If you get the achievement for 100 deaths on your first play through, you certainly are doing something wrong. Granted, I HAVE earned that achievement, but it took a while.
I love this game, and I love killing goblins. It makes me happy! :D See? I'm happy.

Back when I started, I got seriously frustrated during the ice forest. The Dark elves were kicking my arse; I was getting swamped and repeatedly killed. I was almost ready to quit, and take it back to the shop.
Then i learnt how to juggle and do air finishers, and it was like a new dawn ^_^
I actually think that story-mode HoH is too easy: you don't have to use many of the tools in your arsenal to beat it. If you try to play the whole game the way you can play HoH, as I suspect the OP did, then it will doubtless be a very painful experience.

haha! i love the idea of Norse Warriors tooling around in a golf cart :)
personally, I find vehicles pretty irksome in these games; you're always having to get on and off them etc. Faster running speed could have been nice though.
The next thing are the items: you collect these rare, expensive items & they don't make a difference.
don't know where you get "they don't make a difference" from.. though it's true you need to keep replacing them as you level up, but that doesn't seem to be your beef.

Diablo had neither of those things. Neither, typically, do JRPGs. While they are occasionally done well, dialogue trees often annoy me as they tend only to give the illusion of choice. I'd rather a decent cutscene in most cases.

If you're dieing an "infinite" amount of times, you obviously have not study the combat scheme and have far from mastered all that can be done in a fight. Between rolling, ruiners, juggling, and finishers... there is little left in the game that is difficult to kill quickly.
Do yourself a favor and go to the ADVANCED COMBAT section of your menu, and study it well.
I agree with everything spider from mars said above. Furthermore, this game does remind me a lot of Diablo 2. All you did was run around in big hallways (when in dungeons) and kill hordes upon hordes of enemies. The main purpose: collect loot. That's what TH accomplishes, and it does it well.
The one thing I can say is that I liked the story, but the "cornyness" of dialogue is unmatched by any game I have yet to play. SK could feed several families for a year with all the corn generated by this game :) But it doesn't stop it from being entertaining, I'll definitely be coming back to TH time and time again.

I never played Diablo so it's difficult to compare. I'm not sure the game needs tree dialog, but checking out a map & seeing a "GO HERE" pointer seems kind of mindless. There ought to be some choices.
I don't know why I suck at the game. I've been trying all of the various combinations for days. My only guess is that I must have picked a weak skill set for the Bioengineer class & need to respec it. Further, the damn armor & weapons get damaged so easily...after an hour or so of dying, most of the equipment is near 0. I've gone off to Aesir to repair it, come back, & it doesn't seem to make any difference in terms of improvement.
There is something about the controls not working for me, but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is.
Here are some more complaints:
On the Elf Spider thingy, I notice that when I jump in the air as it slams down its claws on the ground, it still knocks me over & does a crapload of damage. However, when the Trolls do it, jumping in the air works. Why is this the case?
And when the spider crawler freezes my enemies, when I hit them with my weapons while they are frozen, it doesn't seem to be doing any damage to them.
I think I would need to see someone else play this game to get an understanding of how the hell to play it!

I'm assuming you have a bioengineer and a defender? I know BioE doesn't have a freezing spider :p Anyway, you do damage, they just don't move, so it's free beatings :) Also, health bars only show up for elites, leaders, and trolls. BioE and Defender just have low melee damage, so they take a little longer to kill. Try it on goblins, you'll see that you can kill them frozen.
The spider, well, that bugs me too. Just roll. The B button is your best friend in this game.
For both BioE and Defender, go middle tree. It is the most survivable in the game. Your spider makes you invulnerable, and the BioE can heal with the battle cry while the defender becomes immune to polarity effects and reflects them (except explosions, they will still hurt).
And as far as the GO HERE marker, you don't actually have to go there. You can go in to the armory/cybernetic lab, as well as hit X to go to the teleport menu, and play a past level at a slightly harder difficult, with no storyline cinematics :) You can also explore The World Tree

Well they need something to speed up those long

have made the game longer & make it look like

Why walk it? Walking makes more sense in

Right now, I have a lot of orange equipment, but

that stronger rarer equipment would keep me alive

Maybe you should try Mass Effect. They don't
even need a large home base in TH. You should
just go to the menu to open a locker to change
out weapons or get repairs. TH is supposed to
be the future, complete with AI & robotic
assistance. All of the annoyances of going back
to Aesir during the mission could have been
skipped. It wastes time walking around doing
nothing. They could have used that Aesir
development time for fleshing out bigger,
better missions instead. Set the priorites
straight.

check the bonuses each item has. while you're still levelling up it's not worth stressing over it too much, but it should be relatively easy to rack up +30% to 40% damage for your favourite weapon. that'll make a big difference.
the different weapons do have different bonuses: if you're being swarmed then hammers have an AoE juggle which makes for good crowd control. staves also have nice wide swing arcs. air combat is a great way to get out of a crowd too, as it allows you to deal with mobs one at a time (just be careful of spiders, they can and do shoot you out of the air). fierce attacks can also be good as they go through multiple mobs, though you can't use them close up.
plasma weapons have splash damage; rifles have nifty AoE secondary fire.
I'm trying to find out what good the loot is for the trilogy. Since so many people are getting the red equipment, they can blaze on through the sequel. So is it good to have or pointless?
from what i last heard, you will be able to import your character straight into TH2. as to how it'll be balanced, nobody knows; wait and see.
Right now, I have a lot of orange equipment, but it doesn't seem to do me much good.
well, a lot of the stuff you pick up will be trash. look for stuff with good bonuses. farm the shop.
Bioengineer
Bios are quite weak in melee.. i'm not an expert on the class, so maybe someone who knows them better can comment. I hear that the middle path is the one to go for.
My main's a cyberzerker (lv 42 and counting..), so naturally my advice is likely to be melee focussed, but:
* don't stand still.
* don't get surrounded (see "don't stand still"). but if you do, roll, jump or use a ruiner. grenades do in a pinch but beware of reload.
* don't try to slug toe-to-toe (see "really, don't stand still"). this applies to goblin leaders & dark elves. juggle them and use an air finisher (particularly if there are others mobs around).
* single out and kill ranged attackers ASAP
* use fierce attacks or ruiners on polarity goblins/elves
* keep your combo level high
EDIT: for Bio advice, check:

Also, top priority should be 90% armor bonus. It will make a huge difference.
Another help with getting surrounded is hammers. You may want to give them a go. Their juggle is AOE.
Take advantage of air combat.
Bioengineer healing is slow, but it will help with hunting down health orbs all the time as opposed to other classes. Middle tree battle cry is a very fast heal.
* single out and kill ranged attackers ASAP
Some of the best advice you can take, if you take nothing else from this thread.
The B button is your best friend.

I got two out of three "Unstoppable" achievements on my first run through the game. Hall of Heros and Helhiem. At the time I found Helhiem the easiest level and I found Ice Fortress to be rediculous. I had some frusterated moments at times and have found the levels (online) to be almost unbalenced but once I got better at the game play and figured out all the bonuses of charms and runes.. The game became easy..
I like that once you are a lvl50 with good armour and class builds you are what you are meant to be... A God!

If a Bio is your main and you're not playing to its strength - survivability - then it's no wonder you're having such a hard time. As Redenbacher said, go Middle path, focus on maxing your Bonus Armor, get a hammer for the juggling, etc. Also, work on building your Bio Regen and Healing Effectiveness, that should help.
Beyond that, two words: COMBO METER. Building combo energy quickly and using it wisely are absolutely essential to almost most class / build combinations, but it's a facet of the game that a lot of players overlook at first. It's easy to approach TH like traditional 3rd person action combat, and just wade in and hit things til they fall over. To be effective, approach combat more tactically. Instead of just thinking "what do I need to do to kill these dark elves?" you should be thinking "what do I need to to kill these dark elves AND gain combo energy doing so?"
For you, combo energy drives your healing. No combo meter = no healing. Fierce attacks, 2in1 combos, juggling and air kills all help build your meter quickly Maxing out any skill that increase combo regen rate or decreases combo energy costs will help as well.
While I agree with the health drops being rare, I play a berserker - so I have zero room for error. A bio, on the other hand, has a huge buffer in their self-heal and regen abilities, so using those effectively will likely improve your chances tenfold.

Well I went back to play tonight. I've found that I was right at the end of Helheim & fighting Hel herself. Well, for openers, I'm dying every 5 seconds. Right when I respawn she fires her laser that depletes nearly 75% of my health. The zombies then use the machine guns to take away the rest.
When I get near her, I only manage to do a sliver of damage before she disappears & then fires the laser again.
I'm so angry with this game right now I'm ready to break the disk in half. This is a game that Denis Dyack thought would be fun??? This is the stupidest boss I've ever fought in any game...How convenient it must be to steal away 75% of your health at the start of your respawn. Way to keep someone from finishing the game for another 12 hours!
Try a different class. If your dying too much as a Bio, your just doing it wrong. Seeing as the 'Zerker class has the most comprehensive guide, I would suggest you play one of those. AFTER READING THE GUIDE.

I'm sorry - we've tried helping you, but are you doing anything any differently? Hel is of course hard, she's the final boss, but you shouldn't be dying every five seconds. You're either woefully underequipped, poorly spec'd, still low level, or just refusing to alter your playstyle based on our recommendations.
Stop blaming the game or SK, and either stop playing and trade it in, or do something differently. START OVER if nothing else - try another class, or just work on gearing and leveling your Bio and improving your gameplay to the point where you can handle Helheim.
You're not helping the cause by whining that SK somehow made this impossible just to keep you playing. (Why do people continually think that console developers get some benefit from the number of hours you spend on their game? This is not an MMO.) All of us have cleared these bosses dozens of times, and I myself am not some uber pro gamer - so obviously it is not impossible to beat Hel. Stop blaming everything BUT yourself and try to look at what you can do differently.
I hope you have better luck and manage to turn things around. I'd offer to get with you on XBL and try to help, but given your massively negative b!tchy rants in this thread, you don't sound like much fun to hang out with. :(

Why is everyone getting upset about me getting upset with the game? I've been to other boards to rant about TH & I've had several other people agree with me. I guess you would rather that everyone just came to this forum to talk about their peachy experience & nothing ever goes wrong in Too Human Land? Negative attacks on my character are uncalled for. If anything, somebody should care what I think because I buy a crap load of games. Here is a photo:
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y170/jknight5422/library.jpg
This photo doesn't include the Fallout 3, Kane & Lynch, GTA IV, Saint's Row
1, & a few other games I bought recently.
I gave up on the Hel boss & I've decided to go back & run through the other levels just to compare the difficulty I've had with the last level & boss (died about 183 times currently). So far, I've found that the other levels, I wasn't having as much difficulty with the staple creatures. I still died a few times, but it wasn't anything like it was on the Hel map.
I've leveled up to 29 & some of the powerful orange weapons & armor seem to be getting better at taking out the enemy. I also recently got a drop of a level 44 item with 4 empty slots (is that a red rarity?). If the weapons/armor are getting stronger, then it might make some areas of the game easier..that's my current theory.
And by the way, I've followed the advice on this thread. I respec'ed my character, "practiced" moves by re-doing the first level, I've moved continuously, & varied my attack strategies. What I find is that sometimes it all works with the greatest of ease & other times a couple of hits find their mark & I'm dead as a door nail. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it, no consistency.
Currently, I'm going to remain in the repeat levels until I feel I have enough powerful items & a better handle on the character's abilities.
I didn't notice a craptakular effect with the Cannon or laser guns. If I'm walking backwards attacking something with the Cannon, when it's time to reload, Baldur does a 180 degree turn away from the target. So he gets hit from the back. Then I have to waffle the controls to get him centered back on the guy he was shooting at. This needs to be fixed in the next game.

As far as Baulder doing a 180 when you reload... That's why you pay attention to you ammo meter, and when it's down in the red, MANUALLY reload so he won't do that and you wont loose you place.
If you are still having trouble, get a Defender. They have ton's of health, tons of armor rating, and they're basically the noob of TH. So get one of those, and you won't die as much.
And everyone is attacking your character because your OP is all anyone new does around here anymore, is just whine and cry and complain and boo-hoo about everything from duping to game difficulty to DLC to farming the spider to red and Aesir drops to co-op and so on and so forth.
You had nothing new to add to this website. Everything you complained about that was "bad" in your OP has already been cried over numerous times. That's why there is a search function on here, so you can find a topic. It would have been a better idea for you to look through the old posts because believe me, you are not the only one who has had problems with this game.
But a lot of folks around here either really like this game and respect SK with what they put out and really truely think this is one of the best games put out in a long time (me), or they really love the community here, and are tired of seeing the same b.s. posts about how TH sucks over and over (me again) because trust me boss, reading this crap is no different that turning on the radio and hearing the same song over and over and over. It get's old.
I'm not a mod or an admin (yet, :D), so I'm not going to assume that I can tell you what you can or can not post, but do yourself and everyone else a favor and at least look around a bit and try to find the answers to your questions before you start throwing a fit about this game and posting repeat flaming post about things. Trust me on this, I know first hand that you will get a much better responce from people on this website if you lay off the flaming of the game, SK, and the TH.net, calm down a bit, and simply admit you're having trouble and need help.

I specifically stated the difficulty was in the last level right up towards the last boss. There is clearly a lot to the game that is an annoyance, but if the fan base here at this forum wants to play "elitist" towards the game & IF that is the only kind of people that this game attracts, then the second & third parts of the triolgy probably won't sell very well either.

I took some new photos of my current stack of games. It's not alphabetized yet. There was a lot of moving things around during Hurricane Ike. Look for the photo this Saturday.
As for Too Human, well I've got my closure with finishing the game. I'll probably come back to it later but I'm switching over to Fallout 3 & I need to get my post-apocalyptic fix in. I might put some time into TH during breaks from Fallout 3. Once I can get the right Baldur setup, it ought to be easy to go back & get all of the rest of the achievements.
Btw, besides finishing Halo 3 on Legendary, I did finish Quake II on the Xbox 360 as well (you get 9 trophies, but 0 achievement points). Quake II's normal feels like Legendary (except for not getting shot in the head by snipers all the time). Come to think of it, in Halo 3 Legendary mode, I died a lot in that game too. There was a point where there were two giant spider tanks, filled with baddies, & I had a very tough time getting past that. I think it took me 6 hours to get past it. I didn't consult or get online to figure it out. I used strategerie.

See, it's doable - it's not impossible and SK doesn't hate you or want you to die 3593860 times just so you will keep playing. Congratulations on making it though. :)
RE: your comments re: elitism and TH.net - I don't know why you think it helps your cause to insult the people you're asking for assistance. Frankly, I'm surprised you got so many helpful responses, given how you e-rage all over TH and SK in your first few posts. Rather than us blowing you off and basically calling you a dumb noob, we tried to help you improve your game experience. Your ranting continued, with no signal that you were doing anything any differently until the post I quoted.
So actually, I think you got a pretty good deal. You b!tched like mad about the game this site is based around, blamed everyone but yourself for your own poor performance, and rather than taking you down a few pegs, some of us posted some suggestions and attempts to help you. You responded by complaining about the people helping you, rather than just taking a second to say 'thanks for the suggestions.'
Anyway, I'm glad it worked out in the end. In a nutshell, it sounds like you were trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, and playing the Bio as a Berserker or something.... I don't really know. But all's well that ends well. I hope you enjoy Fallout 3, it's an awesome game IMO. Good luck in the future.

I'm usually on your side SuperJay but if anyone stopped and payed attention to his posts they'd realize from the mention of the "freezing spider" that he is in fact, a BioEngineer on the Left Tree. The absolute worst build in the game. I would know, my first character used this tree, and he's right. No matter what you do you just aren't capable of handling the hordes of enemies without a VERY healthy amount of deaths. I died around 120 times on one play through with that char.
Coming from someone who died maybe 12 times on a Champion Playthrough.
And yes RedenBacher, the BioE DOES have a freezing spider. Not everyone knows about it, it would seem, because no one uses the left skill tree.
With good reason.
This is why you should read guides before you ***** and moan about the game being unbalanced. There is a class guide for each of the possible classes.

Don't get me wrong, I like this game a lot and have been standing up for it since day one. But why is their even a broken tree in the first place? You can't expect a player to buy or look up a guide just so they can figure that out.

Anyway, try a champion or zerker. Much easier to use. ;)

Which is how you weed out the newbs from the noobs. The newbs will read the guides to find out what they may be doing wrong. The noobs will not, and just claim that the game is broken while they still insist on using a bad spec.

Haha, no worries Muffin... there are no "sides," it's just a conversation. I don't have a "side" in the first place, so don't sweat not being on it. :)
I did read his posts and stop and pay attention - I just don't play a Bio so I didn't pick up that he's spec'd the way he is, and even if I had, I don't have the experience to know that it's such a bad choice. But several of us said "try Middle tree if you're a Bio" or suggested other classes / specs, and evidently that feedback got ignored.
In the OP's defense, maybe he didn't want feedback or assistance in the first place. I don't think he ever really asked for it, and maybe he just wanted to complain. If so, I guess we should have just let him do so on his own, rather than trying to help him improve his experience.

Nah. The subject says Reviews. My "rant" was a review, or rather a harsh (constructive?) criticism of the game with fewer stars. How the heck am I supposed to know that I picked the crappiest build in the game (Bio w/ left tree) from the first time I played the game without reading guides?? I don't like to spoil my game experience by reading the guides, but if it's required to do that in order to enjoy the game, then that's kind of crappy. Every class & tree should be playable, regardless of whether it's a crap combination or not. Otherwise, why have the combination in the first place? There certainly isn't a special achievement for completing the game with the Bio/left-tree combo, but there should have been. Also, on a few early reviews I had read from other places, the articles stated that perhaps the Bioengineer would be the best to use as it had more health & regeneration. So in fact, I chose the Bioengineer thinking that would be the best class, when in fact, it is the worst! I'm guessing they should have locked the Bioengineer until after you have completed one play-through & use Bioengineer as the "challenging" class for the elitists to use. I think a Game Design 101 corollary should be:
If a part of your game is really hard, have that be an unlockable component of the game that only the die hard gamers will want to use (mostly for bragging rights), to avoid new gamers from accidently choosing that class to start the game with & become frustrated with your game!
Maybe instead of complaining about my complaining you should try using the Bio/left tree & see how much "fun" you have finishing the game with those settings? :D I did switch the tree based on the advise given in this thread & that is probably why I was able to finish.
I just started playing Fallout 3 last weekend. My God. That game is incredible & addictive! They stream-lined the hell out of it & it is very easy to use, play & or understand (you can read my comments about it here: http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=912390&st=0&gopid=13256576&#entry13256576 I'm hoping to get in a little Too Human on the side as I want to get a few other builds going & max out the Bio build and/or get better equipment. But it might be kind of hard to get around to TH with FO3 being sooo fantastic.
I'll be posting my new stack of games this evening. I know I promised it last weekend, but misplaced the digital camera connector. Quick snap attachment coming up real soon now! :p

Middle tree Bioengineer/Defender is probably the easiest class to play, hands down. If you die, you screwed up really bad. Left tree is a completely different play style than middle tree, and I've never tried it to say whether or not it was difficult. I would imagine that without a decent heal and an invulnerability spider, it's much harder.
Fallout 3 is fantastic, but after beating it the first time I have no problem going back to TH for a run or 2, and then hopping on CoD4 or something else. Also buying some cheap copies of Burnout Revenge and Paradise City to feed my high speed destructive side.

Here is the current stack. Notice the Fallout collection. I have every one made: The original Fallout 'trilogy', the odd Blades of Steel game, & lastly, Fallout 3.
The game on the Top Left is Doom 3 Collector's Edition for the Xbox, works with the 360. Down at the bottom right, underneath Gun, is Halo 2 Collector's Edition. Too Human is in there somewhere. I still need to play several of those games. Missing from the Stack is Crackdown, at another location. I'll update it at a later time.

are you suggesting that you are somehow unusual that you buy games?
(for the record, i don't think your games library is unusually large - certainly not large enough to be worth posting pictures of and expecting people to be impressed)

Sure it does. I think they'll listen to the players, hence the review. If they expect to sell the same amount of Too Human for the sequel if it's the same quality as this game, the reality will be setting in.
Even though you think the problems reported have been repetitive, as you state they have been complaining over & over & over about the same thing, well that only makes it moreso to add fuel to the fire. It deserves to keep repeating. Unless development is going to post & say, we have heard all of these things & will take it into consideration in the next game (followed by the list), then yes, everyone is going to write in & keep complaining about the same thing.
Overall, the kind of trash talk I received is pretty typical of most boards, so I don't let it affect me. I expect it to some degree, but they will read counter-trash talk. Showing a photo of my stack of games doesn't take any effort to do. About a week ago, on this thread, I promised I would show the latest stack & I wanted to display the stack to all & merely show that I keeps my promises.

SK may or may not frequent it, but that's at best a side benefit. if you're really posting here in the hope of influencing SK, you're wasting your time, and ours.
i think you severely overestimate your powers of insight
borrowing a game does not make you an idiot, nor does being a teenager. buying the game does not make you not an idiot.
Hmmm. I don't think I called anyone an idiot for being a teenager or borrowing a game. I merely say that since I buy plenty of games that my criticism ought to say something.
I'm not wasting anybody's time you blithering idiot. I came. I posted. The game developers should listen to their audience.
Anyhow, my 360 just RROD'ed last Saturday so there won't be any game playing for me right now. I guess I'll have to go...play a PC game for the time being. :( Probably NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer or Spore. This is my second RROD...the good news is that I'll be covered by Mr. Softy's 3 year warranty almost entirely through to 2011.
