Too Human Review

Look I won't be back to read if you blast me or not so feel free. This game is awful. The commando class is horridly overpowered, while for some like myself who chose to go at it with the berserker at first became frustrated by how lame helheim's slide system became. The level's don't provide a storyline at all. No explanation of how the rune system works, and basic background to anything in the game. Why are the two places you are forced to spend so much time in so god damn slow. I hate walking around aesir or cyberspace. I sadly am an achievement whore and the only achievement I didn't get because my character was wiped was the 7500 items achievement. I decided I would play a much better produced game in fable 2 and guess what I am actually happy playing a game again. There are no and I mean NO redeeming factors to too human after the first playthrough. The enemies leveling to your level is ****ing dumb. Why as I go through a game do I want to never be better than creature I just fought. I can't figure out who saw this game and thought wow this should be our final product. I know I am all over the board here but I hate so damned much about this game I don't know where to start. The camera system sucks, the controls are sluggish, especially in the ice forest where I land and I got shot before I can even ****ing move. Wow I needed to vent I guess. Anyways, please comment on my piss poor grammar. My lack of a clearly defined thesis on why this game sucked. Also realize I will be playing a much better game. :D

You have to admit, the number of creatures to fight IS pretty limited. It can get a bit boring. I kind of wish they had developed a Monster Manual of creatures to fight, like in Diablo, or other FRPG games, but for whatever reason, the designers didn't want to follow a successful formula.

I found some reasons to be angry with the game, but I didn't think it needed to be thrown out. It has a few interesting perks.

Another thing I really would have liked to see in the game would have been random dungeons, tricks, & traps to make the game re-playable. Just playing the same campaign missions over & over is a bit boring. And add some variety to the maps...not long giant roads from one point to the next. Mix it up a bit.

There may be only a few bases for creatures, but this game actually has a large number of unique enemies. If you count the polarities, which due to the fact that they make you play differently, should be counted as a different enemy than a normal version.
