Hi everyone this is my fisrst post on here so I thought I may aswel start with my opinion of Too Human. I have spent a fair bit of time playing it over the last few days since I have been off work after splitting my finger open and needing some stitches. Although it hasn't been bad enough to stop me playing Too Human.

When I bought Too Human I didn't go to the shop with any intention of buying it. It was simply a case of I couldn't see any other games that appealed to me. Normaly if I have an idea of which game I want to buy, I would read the review on to see how it fairs. In this case I had not read a review on Too Human since I hadn't really planned on buying. I am so glad I had not read a review on it because I probably would have never bought it if I had.

When I got home with my new game I did not have time to play it before I went to work but I thought I would quickly check a review on it. I went to my usual site I use (www.uk.gamespot.com) and I was very dissapointed with the review I seen. They gave it 5.5/10. The reason I use this site is because they also give you the average "CRITIC" scores and also the average user scores. The average critic score was 6.9/10 and the user score was 7.3/10.

Needles to say after reading the review I didn't know if I still wanted the game or not. I am so glad I did though. I was so plesently supprised and on reflection I think this is a very good game. The best way I could think of describing this game is a cross between Devil May Cry and Mass Effect, but in my opinion better.

So why Devil May Cry 4 can get 8/10 and Mass Effect can get 8.5/10 and Too Human only got 5.5/10 is a total mystery to me.

Lets be honest Too Human isn't the greatest game ever made which i'm sure you will all agree with anyway. But it is at least equal to or IMO slightly better than both of the above mentioned games. IMO I would have given the following scores DMC 4: 7/10, Mass Effect: 8/10, Too Human: 8/10.

I personaly think most of these so called critics probably haven't even bothered to play the game and just followed suite by making up some random poor to medicore score or copying some half wits review. I think its really funny reading some of the so called bad points of the game.

The Bad: The story doesn't get interesting until the final minutes (Don't know what story they have been following but it can't be the one on Too Human) Too many elements chop up the pace (Like what?) Area attacks and status effects are poorly implemented (Don't know what they mean by this) Ranged combat is unsatisfying (what a load of rubbish I use it all the time as a champion and it is far superior than DMC).

The only thing I found slightly annoying was the way the camera worked, but I soon got used to it. Just for arguments sake we can say the camera system is a bit rubbish it doesn't warrent the poor scores the game has received.

I find these poor reviews too be very damaging to a very good game which im sure would have sold alot more copies if these half wits took the time to review the properly. I think the least these people could do is appologise for their pathetic reviews and take some time to play the game and review it properly.

But we all know this isn't going to happen I just hope they do the deccent thing and review the sequals correctly.

I liked DMC 1-2 but after that it got too busy sucking it's own to really make me want to play it anymore. Mass Effect was Excellent even though I don't like guns much I still loved the depth of the game and the sheer amount of thought they put into explaining everything in the world. Such as the explaination of the ammo of the weapons with a small shave from a block and shot by a mini mass accelerator genius and that is definitely something that could be achieved in the near future.

Unfortunately Too Human didn't have as much depth as I would have liked in the sense that they didn't explain anything about things such as Agression, Soothing, or Hybrid.
Gameply wise it's awesome I Love the the Berserker class and when I can get him going he turns into an Axe Tornado, to quote a great movie "I'm a mushroom cloud layin mother f*****, mother f***** I'm the guns of the navajrone."

One thing that really bothers me are the totally cheap freezing rocket goblin or sniper trolls, as well as the ballistic resistant/ polarity trolls that do damage to you if you mount them and you can't kill them with ballistics. The types of enemies I just described are just cheap and unecessary to the game because no matter what class you are when you get near one you just get to watch yourself die.

The storyline is very well done though even though some of the cutscenes are unecessary and don't need to be unskippable (like the bridge collapse after Tyr takes off.)

Overall I think the reviewers must be like Opie from family guy retarded to not at least see the charm this game has. I understand that watching yourself die 10 times in the same spot can be offputting and the ice forest is totally cheap with the sheer amount of things that like to 1shot you.

Overall the game is better the more you play it and get used to the fact that you will be using ballistics for most of every fight you get into because of too many polarities. Good Review though.

The only other gripes I have about the game is the fact that you can't skip the cut scene after you die. And I have noticed some glitches the most noticeably being the framerate droping and sometimes my character doesn't react immediately to what I want him to do (has anyone else had this problem?).

yes that happens but I feel it is forgiveable what isn't is the freaking ballistics resistant polarity trolls which you can't kill at range unless you feel like holding the right trigger while you the pizza you ordered during the fight gets there before it dies.

When you mount the things they explode and do damage to you no matter what. Same thing with freezing sniper elves/trolls or rocket goblins, none of these need to be in the game and they don't add to the gameplay they destroy it.
