There are 2 battle cry runes I would appreciate some feedback on please....

Here's the scenario, I have a Human Zerker started and I went right path for pure dmg output. The battle cry in that tree is an increase to melee damage, now...

Does the Battle Cry increase dmg rune actually increase my melee dmg of my battle cry? I would assume yes but just making sure.

Also what does the Battle Cry Efficiency increase rune do? Does it decrease the combo cost of your Battle Cry or increase the duration?

Thx much!

It should give you a percentage of how much the rune would increase your melee damage by. I also think that yes, it does add itself on top of the battle cry.

For efficiency rune, i'm not really sure. Meh.

Battle Cry Damage: Yes, in the case of the Berserker's right tree it increases how much more of a damage boost the Battle Cry Gives

Battle Cry Efficiency: Just like how the efficiency given by combo count with the Human alignment reduces cost of Battle Cries and Ruiners, this ability reduces the cost of your Battle Cry. The max is 50% so by maxing it out on your equipment Battle Cries cost half of a combo level.

AWESOME! Thx very much for the feedback. I was pretty sure about the Battle Cry Dmg Increase ruin stacking additional dmg but was unsure of the Efficiency rune.

I thought that it would allow less combo meter to activate the Battle Cry ability, that's perfect and helps out alot, I hate using up my Combo meter...

Battle Cry Efficiency is probably one of those extremely under-appreciated runes that are truly awesome. For my Human Bio-Engineer there's nothing better. I get combo level 4 (5 when co-oping with my buddy) and never run out of heals.

So I put 50% (capped) Battle Cry Effieciency Runes into my armor for my Human Berserker for the Increased Melee Damage Battle Cry, well it still costed a full level to pop a BC.

So I do not think Battle Efficiency Runes decrease BC cost. Maybe they enhance the duration?

Sorry not an answer here but I realized we are trying to figure out the same thing. Im wondering if Battle Cry Efficiency simply increases duration of battle cries then. Whats really bothering me is the Orange number on the HUD (Efficiency Amount: Efficiency when casting Battle Cries or Ruiners) never changes from 0 for me, even with Battle Cry Efficiency at 38%. Whats that number really for then?

Efficiency on the HUD will never be affected by runes. It is only affected by hit count.
They should add together though.

Some battle cry and spider runes are pretty specific though (there is an anti-missile spider only rune).

It is possible the rune you have doesn't operate with a specific battlecry. I know that efficiency does work on my Commando and Bio-E costs.

Ahh so the HUD number only increases with combo count? Makes sense seeing im a cyber commando and cant build combo count for crap. Interesting theory that only certain battle cries have the cost decrease, you are 100% certain that your cost is reduced for those battle cries? Im using right tree battle cry on my commando which one are you using on yours?

All I know is that I had Battle Cry Efficiency runes capped at 50% for my Berserker. I went right tree with the Melee dmg increase battle cry. When I casted a Battle Cry with zero hit count it took a full level of Combo meter away from me.

Hence why I thought Efficiency meant maybe duration? But that wouldn't make much sense either.
