Romans Review
This was my first pre-order game I have got, and let a sure it was an excellent choice. In my review I will talk about positives/negatives and suggestions to help understand my feeling towards Too Human.
When I first started playing, I was impressed already with the class selection. This helps a lot of reply value. I liked the cinematic cut scenes, but them being too long took away flow. The story was weak at start, not instill world serpent I started to pay attention. Then when it came nearing ending I was impressed with the story.
Combat was very fun, I really liked the hordes of enemy's coming after you. I felt like a heroic warrior slaughtering all foes that came near my way. Auto aim was a bit un responsive, including a next target button would of solved the problem. The camera angles at times could be confusing but didn't effect as much as the auto aim problem.
Campaign had a good length and having an Rpg system in the game made it very fun to reply the levels.
Multilayer was extremely fun, and easy to join peoples groups. I was disappointed with only being able to play with 2 people. Also I found that online had different setup to campaign and this being only playable online making offline users missing out. Making a spit screen option for more than one person would please offline users. Let alone that difference I still enjoyed the online.
What also troubled me was the stats, being a MMORPG addict I still couldn't figure out what some of the stats did. If anyone is reading this, If there is an guide to all the stats meanings it would be greatly appreciated.
Improvements---
Adding such features could turn this game in a fable or an Halo
Making the city an online server holding up to 20-30 players, then players could go up to each other maybe as a hot key A to talk and B to group up. This could promote trade and players could show off their Armour.
Making the online to 3 players, I did look into some of the videos for this game. You guys stated that it would be too chaotic if their were too many players. But After playing over 50 hours of the game, I think 3 players still would keep things in balance. Making more intresting groups of people, and promoting self made clans.
Improved Hud
The hud was kinda basic and huge and it should been more smaller and sleek
Making multiplayer detailed characters. Like in Grand Theft Auto 4, in multiplayer you could make your own character, it being different then the campaign original. Its kinda silly having multiple Baldur's walking around.
An Arena with 2 features
It would be a separate feature not being related to story
1-It would have an option to team up with a buddy and taking a unstoppable force of enemy's. Sending waves after waves intill the players die. The longer the players live the better the reward is.
2(Optional)
Some PvP action
I know it would be a different game to design but having an PvP element would bring competition to a whole different level. Maybe having a rank system to go with it.
Faster cut scenes, also when completed story mode-Cut scenes should be all turned off. Why watch the same thing countless amounts of times. At least make an option to take them off.
This is a great game, it has the potential to become an epic game.
