what the hell will your "crimson crew" do? first off you can only play 2 at a time, so more people in your "crew" than that doesn't even make sense. secondly what are you guys gonna do if everybody's already geared up? run time trials? play for the hell of it through levels you'll of played sooo many times if you are actually geared up?
sounds complete and utterly pointless.

its mainly for when u need someone to hang or to chill with and that not a newb and doesn't know what he or she is doing. and down the road when the new content comes out for 4player Co-op we can go into other rooms Show'n some good Skill and team work infront of other players. Think before u talk big'n.

Gnasher, If you don't believe in guilds don't come to the Guild hall.

Think before I talk? lol. your the one who is getting a guild going based on content that hasn't even been close to confirmation.
I also didn't come in here to be insulting, the original reason was pure speculation as to what someone would do in the "crew" if they were already decked out and effectively finished w/ their character. The answer seems to be just hanging out in the aesir lobby waiting for 4 player co-op.
P.S. Samski I do believe in guilds because they make sense in most games. That is why I came here. I was very curious as to what a TH guild would do besides wait for a speculated new mode, and I got my answer; sit in a lobby and "hang" w/ people over xbox live.

So when exactly did he say they were going to update anything? especially a 4 player coop because i would really like to know when they're going to fix the simple bugs like my bio ruiner which is supposed to syphon the damge dealt into life for me. all im saying is that a 4 player coop would be nice but if i havent seen a major post for an update on their site about the minor details i wouldnt expect a 4 player coop this soon. so please enlighten me and all the others what you know that sk wont tell us directly.

Hes pulling that out of his ***. All of the Devs were under an N.D.A. about DLC, which is why they couldn't give concrete details about it when we played with them.
4-player Co-Op would be nice, and may very well be in TH2, but I doubt it will ever come in DLC just because of the programming changes that are required for that to work, not to mention playtesting.

Just on a side note, not to flame or insult.
I can see a lot of reasons to have a guild for TH, off the top of my head;
- Always a "Friend" or guildmate to play with, lvl with, and item find with.
- Having people besides you looking out for you as far as items and stuff goes.
- The 4 player co-op, and your right, "if" it comes out. Honestly, with this big of an uproar about it I cant imagine them not doing it.
- Another "if" is the new dashboard is supposed to allow 8 player chat channels. You and all your guildmates could all be hunting for things in different games talking with each other the whole way.
- The general guild feeling. knowing people are in your guild helping you and visa-versa and being able to help other people but also helping your guild.
Guilds are good for most multiplayer games and I think too human is any different. I see your point, but i do think guilds in TH, if put together correctly, can enhance a gaming experience.

That actually makes alot of sense xdrive. especially w/ 8 way chat. My confusion was mostly derived from him wanting people to be effectively finished w/ their character before they even join his crew.

Well, a lot of online RPG guilds want you to have at least one chr the highest lvl for a few reasons. #1 if you have at least one lvl 50 then your not too new. You kinda know whats going on and people wont be spending most of their time teach you how to play. #2 everyone in the guild is on the same level at least with ONE chr. Everyone has one chr they can play together. Instead of say a guild with tons of people all different levels that only certain players can play with each other because of levels. #3 you get people that will actually have a positive impact on your guilds structure. Not people that are new just needing help all the time but people who are on the same level and can help as much as get helped.
Again, its all about the guild type. Some guilds love helping out new people and dont care about level or items... Others (like this one it looks like) want people with at least one high level for the reasons I listed above.

Lvl 50 Human Champion + other chars in the works, I'll go and lvl those quickly ^_^

what do you care what he does nasher? it is a guild hall, if he wants to build his clan now and do it in the guild hall, it's none of your business.
you've come off very over bearing due to your lack of understanding.
battle field bad company also limited itself with only 4 player chat with it's august release......think about it.
more than likely, game developers want a feature they can "sell" with the new format coming, ala 8 people chat thats coming. you have no idea whats in store. my hunch is SK saved something to go along with the new x box format. dennis hinted at 4p co op in an interview linked to this site, would be a fine dlc imho.
either way, your way out of line with your interrogation

LOL. you know this is just a bit old, right?
It also is my business since I could have been a prospective guildie, and he did post the thread in a forum open to my username. IF you actually read a bit above, xdrive already put me back in line, hell he actually wasn't rude like you and he also had some good insight and answers to my questions, very much unlike you.
