Ok, I did a search, but couldn't figure it out. How do I know if I have the pre-order armor? My characters have all started with armor class 27. Is that the pre-order armor? If not... how do I get it? I did the pre-order, but I don't think any of my characters started with it.

Does the armor you start with have runes in them and empty rune slots? If so then you did get the pre order armor.

Once you enter the code and start a new person it starts you with it.

You have to redeem the code on xbox live, you'll do a short download.

Afterwards all your character's will start with some badass looking armor that should actually last you until you get your dragon set. (lvl 8, yeah I know they get replaced fast)

The armor rating is much higher then 27, its more like 27 a piece. They have runes and empty slots, Only two slots though and half the gear has 1 empty rune slot for you to rune out. Pretty low level runes though. Like I said it gets replaced quickly.

I could give you a set if you really wanted, Flett. What class?

Not too shabby. Obviously, it's going to be outclassed in terms of aesthetics and it is comprised of existing pieces, but they gel very well.

You have to give them the $5 reservation fee to get preorder benefits.

I went to my local Toys R Us a fwe weeks back and they had a copy with the pre-order code card attached to the front of the case, inside the security thingy they put the games in. I lucked out. :)

But yeah the armors dont last too long since you find better ones in a short time. After finding out that the armors are actually modeled after existing parts in the game but with different colors, it was less awesome than I thought it would be. I thought they would be unique, one of a kind armors you cant get anywhere else. In a sense they are and in a sense they aren't.

Overall you aren't really missing that much. The only thing pretty cool about the armors though is that in the opening cinema when you start the game Baldur is actually wearing the set of pre-order armor according to the class you chose. Without the pre-order armor, he is just wearing a basic generic set. The basic set can be seen if you go to the main menu and select the option to check out all of the cinemas unlocked. The clip should be the 3rd one.
