Unrelenting Blades is the final skill of the left Berserker tree, which is effectively the "speed" tree. Each point adds to dual-wield attack speed. The mastery rune would add one point to this skill, provided you already have one point placed in it. If you don't have any points allocated to it, the rune will do nothing. Note that even if you have the skill maxed at 10, the runes can break that cap and give you bonus ranks of said skill.

You do know you can repair weapons and armor, yes? Just go to the corresponding shop, weapon for weapons, armor for armor, highlight your equipment, and hit X.

The mastery runes correspond directly to skills in the class and/or alignment trees. Whatever the skill would do, the mastery rune enhances by however many ranks the rune lists (epic runes add 2 ranks to skills, as opposed to 1).

jack is correct on all points.

unless u trained in that skill, the socket was useless.

and before u do put in a mastery rune, make sure ur gonna use that item for a while since those runes dont come up to often.

There is one that's not so clear cut though: Bullet-Tree +1

Does that increase all ballistics base skills? Or just the left path on the alignment trees?

And I can't test it out because if I do the game will auto-save and I can't undo it.

Bullet-Tree is actually a spider skill from the left-branch of the Commando skill tree. It deploys a point-defense turret which shotos down enemy missiles.

all mastery runes increase either a single skill or an entire tree, if its a single skill usually its not worth it imo.

it gives an extra skill point to that skill
