Love and Hate (mostly hate)

Much as I love this game and have been playing it almost since I got it, there are some things about it that frustraight me beyond all reason. My biggest gripe and this anoys me so much that I've had times where I've wanted to take out the disk and spit on it, is whenever I need health (usually when attempting a "do such and such a level without dying acheivement") and I break open a container, the game resolutly gives me a cash pickup. Secondly the pacing of some of the levels is awfull, level 1 is ok and level 3 isn't bad, but level 2 is this great boheamoth of a level that takes you half a day to finish! Thirdly, there is not enough variety its the same thing over and over and it doesn't really matter what character class you choose as they have very little effect on how you get through the game (except maybe the commando) and your only real option is the champion as he is the most balanced.
Considering this cribs from some of the best games about, such as Phantasy Star Online, Devil May Cry, Diablo and even a bit of Mass Effect, why is it so unfair and down right unbalanced (and a bit samey)?!
And If I ever meet a Valkrie (having met one for the thousandth bloody time in the games unskippable cut seaquence) I'm going to pull off all her little metal wing bits one by one, tie her noes hair to her bum hairs and bowl her into a refuse truck!!!!
Don't get me wrong, I like this game, I want a sequel, I just want that sequel to fix some of the things that are HORRIBLE about the first game.
