HP Question.

I Don't know if this has been Posted before and something every ones seen. But i play multi player with a Defender and he has more hps then me. I though that the bio Engineer would have more then him because if you look at the character selection page the bio engineer has a higher hp stat bar. He also mentioned that he has about a 12% increase to it from runes, but surly that 12% don't give him about 700 more hp then me?(the 700 isn't actual numbers)

How much HP are you talking about?
Anyway, your amount of HP combined with regen makes it so that your HP lasts longer... you don't have more but it lasts longer.

Nobody should have more HP than you. You receive a +10% Bonus from Middle-Tree and should you have gone Cybernetic, you'd receive a further 5%. Along with the maximum Rune Bonus of 50%, you should...possess more health than any other character class. Also, as far as I know, we have the most HP at creation than any other class.

EDIT: I'd see for myself, but I'm at work. 880 HP I think is the Bio-E's starting HP.

Well first of all, take into consideration that if he is in the game with you, he's sharing your 10% (would be 12% with two level 3 charms) bonus to hp, so that goes in his favor instead of you two comparing if you were both solo. Also - do you have anything to +health %? It does make a difference.

And I know it might be a stupid question, but are you taking armour into account as well?

The Defender has a lot more armour, so he'll be able to take more damage than your Bio, even if you do have more HPs.

If you're actually comparing HP figures from the stats screen then, as others have mentioned, he'd have to have extra runes and what-not to actually out-class you.

Also, keep in mind that they say HP. They are taking into account your healing abilities as health.

Heya, sorry i havn't been able to get on a PC for awile, ok if i go to my stats screen and look at my hp its got my total hp in white figures, and next to that is yellow in brackets with base hp and the % it adds, Mine says 1766+10% because i have no hp runes on my armor, im in solo play so no group skills are effecting each other, i've just gone in to solo play with my mates Defender and he has 2538 in white figures and nothing in brackets, so im guessing hes changed his armr and has no HP%, But i think i saw what some one read, maybe the game puts up the hp bar as an account that i can self heal. Also i think some one said the starting HP was about 880 for a Bio, to me that sounds right i havn't got a spare character slot to actualy check this but it rings a bell, but also if i recall right defender starts with almost 1k hp, think its more in the 900's but then again i can't say because i don't have a empty character slot to say thats right.
