What's the poing in guilds?

Isn't this only a 2 player game right now? What's the point in a guild/clan right now?

I am not in a guild, but I can see the benefits. To have a guild filled with people who are trying to help each other in looking for elites would be quite helpful. If everyone is helping, one could get their complete elite set faster then someone who plays solo....also you would always have someone to play with.
