Human Elite Set Thread of Woe

My fellow Bio Engineers,

Has anyone noticed that the Human Bio Engineer set strongly suggests (through bonuses to certain skills) that we should specialize down the right skill tree path.

To me, this build is far inferior to the middle path which boasts an 'I Win' spider, extra group health, and an awesome heal.

Why oh why does my Elite Set force me down this path!?

I am sitting on 4/7 (gun, chest, shoulders, head) so far. I am still staying middle path though. The only thing I have changed in my spec is that I did put 4 points into the first left skill, the mind control one, since the gun (if I remember correctly) gives me a mastery there. With 4 points speced in there plus 1 from gun, 1 from elite charm, and eventualy another two poitns from one more charm and full set will give around a 4% chance.

I still think middle path is best and unless the last 3 pieces severly gimp me somehow I can forgoe the 3 bonus points the set gives to the other paths.

What does the set look like?

kinda hard to describe and I dont have a digi to take a pic with, but I will try to explain based on what I have so far.

head is just a green band on the back of the head with a gold piece under the right eye.

chest is green and black metal looking with what i can only describe as a brown wool overcoat on.

the shoulders are small, very small and green / black.

I will get a pic posted if i get the whole set soon if i can find someone to snap it.

Hey Tep can you post stats of the human chest? It's one of the two human pieces we don't have the stats for yet the other being the legs.

and the chest does have a kind of cape like thing hanging off the back that goes down to the legs.
