View Full Version : BioE Patch Suggestions for SK

Well, I figure the first patch is probably due within the month of September so it might be nice to put in a few requests, bugs and general information that might be useful to SK for our favorite class.

I'll start it off with my stuff and I'm going to keep it short:

BUGS:
Skuld's Embrace breaks timed arenas, the timer will not stop if a charmed mob is the only thing left
Ward of the NORNs occasionally fails to work properly and allows melee damage through
The human ruiner does not drain life from enemies as advertised

ITEMIZATION:
The Elite sets are easily outclassed by properly socketed orange gear making them useful for pretty screenshots and not much else. Many of the attributes are comically poor such as putting +battle cry damage on the human elite set. There is no set designed around the middle path which is arguably the most popular BioE choice.

GENERAL:
Please make content that actually requires a healer. There is no reason to have a healer in Too Human in it's current state when all the content can easily be completed with minimal or no deaths by all the classes.

I never thought of the timed arena thing, that is a stinker. Although you CAN still kill enemies that have switched to your side, even if it doesn't look like your doing anything.

The best way to make healing more useful would be to add more Co-Op players. Which wont happen until the sequels (if it happens at all that is). I would like to see a stronger Regen and maybe an Experience loss for death.

Oh and it would be nice if the aerial collision detection was tightened up. Not that I mind occasionally ascending then descending repeatedly while air-comboing. Repeating the first hit in the mid-air combo is faster than the others so I do more damage this way. :twisted:

CEAF nailed it w/itemization, for an EPIC set the only real bonus that I'm at all interested in is the full piece +1 to all skills bonus - except that wearing all those pieces would gimp me moreso than help overall. Other than that, I think a major drawback to our class is the limit of 2 people max in a co-op session.. hopefully a sequel will increase the amount.

dude you couldnt have said it better. im a human 50 bio down the middle, and i havent seen any epic armor yet but from what im reading i might as well find the artisans(or something like that) which has all four rune slots open, instead of waiting for epic.

just think though... if they do make a 4 player coop then bio will be the class of choice. healing 3 other people including yourself will be the best ability in the game and not to mention the shield spider!!!! i dont know how many times ive saved my commando bro with either of these abilities.

however i still want the epic armor to get the achievment so if someone has the full set i will trade wear and then give back the armor seeing as though i dont really want it.
