Regeneration

I'm sort of new to Bio Engineers but I was curious about the regeneration. At the 8 max points in the skill you only get 0.8% regen. Is it even worth maxing considering there are runes that give over 1% bonus to regen?

The runes are x% of 0.8%. (e.g: useless)

The regen is an ok perk. It's nice for a bit of extra hp in between encounters and to offset the DOT polarities. It won't keep you alive in a fight though that's for sure.

I love it! Well worth maxing, Came in handy many times before boss fights.

You can successfully raise your BioE Regeneration rate to somewhere near 1% (0.8% /w Level 8 Regeneration + 20% BioE Regen Rune) Each Regeneration "tick" takes place roughly every second, making your Regeneration Rate directly proportional to your overall health...therefore raising your maximum health through runes/skills will exponentially raise the amount of health you regenerate. It's a little obvious I know...but that took me forever to work out.

I'm actually working on a build that will use the Regeneration to the maximum advantage...more on that later.
