1) OKay first question, whats your thoughts on how the combat will go about when fighting the giants? There massive!

2) Im not sure how many ppl read the Mythos that hannar posted on the old TH.net (RIP) but what other boss like character whould you like to see?

A Ragnaros (WoW Boss) Type Boss would be amazing, Fire Spitting off him with chains and wee little shorts to cover his peenor! Also like the DMC4 First boss A Combination of those would be jaw dropping.

I really want to see boss fights with stages, or at least more variety than the current "shoot this, then stab it" boss fights.
There's so much potential in releasing DLC dungeons and such... Hopefully SK can see this and act on it.

I was hopeing for the GRNDL fight we had to lure him into the flame spots the moment it turns on. To bad it does nothing. Would have been fun.

Funny you should mention that, I was thinking the same thing. The whole fight I was looking for the "gimmick" trick that would inflict serious damage, and I never found one. I just whittled it down to a sliver of health, then he killed me. (I love the total lack of health options in this game, don't you?)

Of course, after the hour-long valkyrie death interlude, I came back, shot him once, and won. Kind of anticlimactic. :|

Yeah, it didn't help that I went into the boss battle with maybe two-thirds of my health, thanks to (you guessed it!) the crappy lack of healing options in the game. Roll BioEngineer, I guess? :P

Yeah I had him down to the last section of the bar and I tried to lore him over the flames for like 10 or so minutes.

As to the health drops, that is what the breakables are for spread around the arena. If you are low on health and break them they are more likely to spit health.

The best thing to kill him is to melee him and finisher him when he is on all fours. When he stand up use the guns on his chest and head. As long as you roll and move he should not get you. Use the double tap on the guns to aim at the buzzblades and roll if the attach to you.

Right, I figured that out midway through. You know one of the other tactics I actually tried? Letting a bunch of drones attach to me and then allowing him to pick me up and jam me into that nasty grinder mouth.

Haha you can roll out of his grip :o and if he gets close, use a ruiner to stun him.

I noticed that grenades don't seem to affect him when he's standing the first time, with the chest grinders lit. The second time, after you've destroyed his chest grinders, grenades do wonder on his head though. So it seems, the steps are...

Finishers when he's on all fours
Shoot his chest when he stands up
Finishers when he's on all fours again
Grenade his head when he stands a second time

Personally I think something along the lines of the Kael'thas Sunstrider encounter would be pretty excellent. Multiple phases, minions, and a pretty technical strategy c/b fun... of course the fact that you don't have 24 other people might mean some adjustments....

I'm thinking you fight Loki in Aesir, as giants are destroying the city around you, that would be a pretty epic cinematic fight in my opinion, far more dramatic than Hel. You wound Loki, he escapes thanks to assistance from the giant, then you take down the giant (possibly in a cinematic), but need to retreat from the city with as many refugees as possible.

ive completed all 4 unstoppables as a berserker. You just have to use your combo levels wisely and kite efficiently and for polarities its best to use and get good at fierces

Since the theme of TH2 seems to be revenge i think it will be more like Baldur constantly hunting Loki down as he tries to rally all of the giants and other creatures of myth to his cause. This will obviously have you running into remote places to fight cool enemies. Then all the **** will hit the fan in the third game.
