Augmented Reality

There was some discussion in the gaming thread (http://www.siliconknights.net/forums/showthread.php?t=12729) that brought up the topic of Augmented Reality. I thought it would be more appropriate here in the Tech forum.

IEEE Spectrum has a fairly longish article from a University of Washington researcher that is working on LED Contact Lenses.

That is pretty intense. Especially the amount of power they're able to generate/utilize on such a small space.
