Meh. If I wanted to sit in my room and watch old wrestling, I could do that any night.
Getting together with some buddies and watching something that's actually live is a better experience, and seeing as how I didn't pay for it out of my own money, I'm quite satisfied with what I watched tonight.

(One of the highlights of the event)
During the Cena/Orton match, a fan ran into the ring and attacked the referee who was seemingly about to count 3 against Orton. It was clearly not staged, as everyone was surprised as hell and just kind of stood there as the security dudes rushed him out of the building. Orton used this to his advantage by luring Cena towards the ropes (he was on the outside) and slamming his neck down onto them. He jumped into the ring and RKOed Cena for the win.
Pretty nice improv.

I am pretty sure something like that has been done before, I have definitely seen fans rush the ring. It never looks staged but usually is, though I didn't see this ppv to actually see for myself. The fan normally ends up wrestling afterwards for a while. I didn't see it but I wouldn't put anything past the WWE. It would be a smart way to introduce a bad guy/Cena enemy. "You ruined my title match" etc etc. If Cena was meant to win and the person interrupted they would have just made him win anyway. That is mostly what makes me think it was scripted.
X-pac, or the 1-2-3 Kid as he was originally known, was pulled out of the crowd by Ted Debiase when he used to offer people money for pushups.

Man it's been a long time since I watched a live PPV...
A fan running in to interfere is definitely nothing new as maaw pointed out.. I think the last time I saw that happen it was Matt Striker who became a regular WWE star.. That said it has happened unscripted.. WHich it does sound like this one maybe.. When planned the turn around events happen rather quickly.. If it was a natural fan, they would be cautious to make sure the fan was under control before they continued (safety reasons).
I've never liked the hip hop Steve Austin known as John Cena.. lol.. I'm not a fan of what they do with him personally, although he is the perfect "hero" for the WWE in this day and age.. Some of his in ring ability is also very impressive..
But NOTHING compares to the Undertaker... :D
