You hear the term "amazing bat control" passed around in telecasts all the time. This is amazing bat control. This guy needs to make the majors just so I can watch him do that stuff in an MLB batters box.

I wonder how many times he took a bat to the head practicing all that stuff.

Give it a minute...he will be on SC soon enough, regardless of level of ball he is playing.
That **** was awesome though. Physics defying flips.

Now I've done stick tricks with drumsticks like the flip thing, but I've never seen it done so effortlessly the way he does it in mid swing or when the bat is practically behind him. He also does very little arm movement which tells me he could probably break someone's hand with too strong of a handshake.
Juggler in a past life maybe? :p

Drumline. Base 3 freshman year, then Snare for 3 years back in High School. I hated that base drum. Why they thought it was a good idea to put a 40-50lb drum on a kid the size I was back then is beyond me. I had to lift weights just to get big enough to fit into the harnesses.
It's been a long while though and I do miss it a bit. I've always wanted to take up playing set to make up for it. Just haven't found the space for it. I've been into percussion ever since the 4th grade. Guess that means...15 years(?) give or take a year.

Sweet. I hated marching the Bass. Although, I was a big kid, and had to lose weight to fit the harness. LOL. Do you still practice the rudiments from time to time? You ought to get your self a kit, even a used electronic kit since it takes up less space. You can generally find a decent, not great, but a decent deal on e-kits.
On topic: baseball kicks ***. so do bat tricks.
