Just curious to hear what you other hockey fans think of Sean Avery and the ride he's been on these last six months or so. Should Dallas have given him more of a chance? Were the Rangers right to take him back? Does the league come down on him unfairly? Is his style of play a legit agitator role or does he cross the line?

I suppose players like him have their place in the NHL but I am not a fan.. He does 'cross the line" IMO with some of the things he (albeit allegedly) says to other players... There are no rules against what he does and it seems to have an effect on teams opposing him.. For w/e reason, most Hockey players make several mistakes when 'distracted' by anger.. At least he can play the game as well, thats his saving grace... It's like an evolution on enforcement in the NHL.. Can't do it with fists so they are doing it with words..
