I love Christian Bale and have enjoyed all three of the previous films so I am hpoing this one is just as good.. I plan on seeing it next week. I am glad they finally went this direction and I hope they've done it well.

This film looks awesome.
Great actor, great SFX and awesome premise.
I just hope to God it isnt *OVERdone*.

If you really like Christian Bale. Have you seen "The Machinist"?
A very unknown film of his, incredible film imo.
Also Equalibrium. A little more known but also a great flick... reminiscent of Matrix stylization.

anywhoo, i can't wait for this film.
I own all the director's, digitally remastered versions of the first 4.
IDK much about the director other then he is the guy who directed the Charlie's Angels remakes. So i will hold some reservations going into Terminator: Salvation.

I have the Machinist, top notch film just a little too predictable imo. Equilibrium is cool but The Prestige has to be one of my favourite Bale films.

I'm with you over Salvation, looking forward to it but with fingers and everything else crossed.

Seen them all... American Psycho may be my favorite movie.

Definitely looking forward to this movie. I think it looks about 50x better than the other Terminator movies. Thank god Arnie isn't coming back in.. If he even makes a cameo... *grumbles*

Don't get me wrong, the other Terminator movies were alright, and Arnie played a decent role for what they were going for. He just isn't a serious actor. He's good in a big dumb action role, but this new Salvation movie has great potential to step beyond big dumb action into the wild land of the philosophical. I think they've shown that with the android in the trailers.

Keeping my fingers crossed as well.

I'm done with this franchise. T3 was a black hole of terrible action and continuity failure, the TV show was dead to me after the Terminator tried ballet, and the trailer for Salvation was doing pretty well until it featured a giant robot.

Just what we needed. Gundams.
