Anyone else love this band?

I got "Ridin' the Storm Out", "Roll With The Changes", and "Take It On The Run" yesterday on Rock Band, and I am now in love with this band.

They're old-school '70s rock/early '80s arena rock, though some of their guitar solos are almost power-metal.

Hahahahaha, wow... you're just discovering REO!! That's awesome.

Growing up in the Midwest in the late 70s and 80s, those tunes were unavoidable. Of the cheese-rock trinity (Journey, Foreigner, and REO), I think REO is probably the most tolerable. LOL

I'll have to check out those RB2 downloads, right after I purchase the entirety of Pearl Jam's "Ten." :D

Ironically, I like all three of those "cheese-rock" bands.

I'm surprised you didn't throw in Def Leppard for good measure (probably my favorite band of all time) :-P

I seem to be a child of the '80s who was born too late to technically be one (well, 1989, but my musical leanings at 1 years of age were more inclined towards Bert & Ernie recordings).

Ridin' the Storm Out is one of the best songs ever. I like REO quite a bit. My dad was in a classic rock cover band for a while and I heard a bunch of their stuff, along with many other great bands.
