I just started Angels and Demons...

I never read a book before the movie so I figure I would try it out with this one.

I almost got past page 1 the other night!! :D

Get safari 4 beta, has a spell checker built in, everything you type is checked.

Never heard of any of those books/authors. My favourite is Clive Cussler, believable action stories mostly. Never really got into any fantasy/scifi books other than starwars and the halo books.

I read a lot, so I'll list a few.

SW: Republic Commando--a character driven series set during the Clone Wars and following elite commando squads. Great books, especially if you like a book to have excellent characters. Hard to say more.

A lot of stuff by Ted Dekker. Excellent author.

The Patrick Bowers Files by Steven James. Great thriller series.

Pendragon by DJ McHale is great.

Most anything by Isaac Asimov. Incredible author.

Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is also fantastic. Enough said.

Dune by Frank Herbert is a great book. Classic sci-fi. Great writing.

The Last Jihad by Joel C. Rosenberg (sp). Great Political thriller. Sequels are great, especially if you like Biblical endtimes prophecy.

Halo Novels.

Harry Potter series. Cliche, but good none the less.
