View Full Version : TUF Season 9 UK vs US

I finally got a chance to watch the first episode of the new season of TUF the other night. I have to say the Brits are looking tough! I was impressed with more than a few, and if the previews of the US team's episode is any indication... the US guys are in for a rough time.

This season should be a good one. Henderson and Bisbing both are pretty cool guys, and they'll bring a lot to the table for their teams.

At this point I would give the edge to the Brits. I watched the new episode last night where the US guys fought to see who would get in. There were a couple impressive guys, but the UK team seems better overall. We'll see what happens though.

Same, so happy I don't have to watch another season of Browning idiocy. It was given too much focus last year and this year it would have had the same. That kid just turtled up as soon as he hit the ground.

I have to agree that the UK team looks better overall at this point. You never know though, I really ccan't wait to see how the season plays out.

Well, the UK won the first fight last night. It was a pretty close fight between Nick Osipczak (UK) and Mark Miller (US). It looked like either one could pull it out, but Nick nailed Mark with a nasty head kick with about a minute left in the second round and knocked him out.

Yeah, that was a close one. I thought Miller had him rocked a few times. They were both about gassed after that 1st round.

The more I watch the more it seems like the UK guys are taking this way more serious. Bisbing seems a little dickish at times, but it looks as though he has his guys in the right frame of mind.

The UK has the "Noone likes us, we are the underdogs, we are on their home turf" cards to pull out and rally around to work harder it seems from the episodes I have seen. I didn't see this week's episode yet but I will catch it this weekend. I was busy killing zombies on Weds. night.
