This movie was just on last night and I watched about half of it again...
It absolutely fascinates me. I highly recommend it if you like movies that really make you think about what is going on.
I still have not figured this one out, but I absolutely love watching it.

K-Pax is really good. Is it based of a book?

I'm not sure, that's a good question...
I was looking up last night on IMDB to see if it was perhaps based on a true story. There was no mention of that, however.

Definitely an interesting flick. It's one of the few movies that was able to leave me wondering what actually happened. It's been a while since i've seen it though so I don't remember all of it.

I snooped around and found out that K-Pax is a book series by Gene Brewer. Seven books so far.

Really? Hmm... I'll definitely have to look in to that. I'm not much of a reader, but I always aspire to read more :p
Nice find!
...now back to figuring out light travel...

/Agreed. K-Pax is Kevin Spacey at his best I feel, better than he was in Seven.

Kevin Spacey is one of the most incredible actors I've ever seen. Have yet to watch K-Pax, but compare his roles different movies, like American Beauty, The Usual Suspects, and Seven. It's amazing that one person can be so convincing in playing such diverse characters.

The film and Kevin Spacey were both amazing... truly inspiring film and performance.

Agreed, I've never seen Spacey perform any better. Like I said, I still don't know exactly what happened by the end of the movie.
But what happened during the movie... that was amazing. The part in the planetarium fascinates me.
Every explanation he makes is clearly plausible. I'm very interested in the series of books now that Nixon has found it.

I saw it when it came out, I was really young at the time, and had no idea what was going on.
