Good ol' Mizzou finally got a good coach and a great roster to go from a losing record last season, to the S16 this season

Marquette was without their best player basically so even though they were the higher seed if they had won I would have considered it an upset. I had marquette losing in the opening round in my bracket after watching them close out the season and in the Big East tournament.

With all due respect MU got some BS calls against them and Marquette got away with waaaay to much towards the end of the game

Regardless, Mizzou is my hometown team and I'm so happy to see them going this far and doing this good in basketball again

I'm not knocking Missouri at all, I just figured they would win.

Wesley Matthews, who plays for Marquette, went to my high school, and is 2 years older than me. I didn't really know him personally, but we tore those other high school teams apart with him. Also, Keaton Nankivil, who is a sophomore that plays for Wisconsin and had 14 points in their overtime win against Florida State in the first round, also went to my high school, and was actually a friend of mine. Unfortunately, he was pretty much worthless when Wisconsin lost to Xavier yesterday.

Somehow I reversed their seeds in my head. Regardless, Mizzou was the favorite in that game and I didn't think it was going to be as close as it turned out to be considering the injury. I didn't think Marquette was going to get out of the opening round after watching them close out the season.
PS
I don't know what to do with myself with no basketball on tonight.

I know exactly what you mean
plus I was soo looking forward to a last second shot by Marquette but he just had to step on that line....and for the people saying the refs shouldnt call it, he really did have to, imagine if Marquette hit the 3 to win, that ref would be fired. Just an unfortunate end to a great game
