Best frackin' show ever! Well it was something to watch anyways.
And now it's gone :( Oh well,
it definitely had the best freaking series finally ever.
If any of you has seen a single episode I suggest you watch the last episode when it comes back on in about 30 minutes.

Now I have to wait for caprica to come on later this year

I say if you NEVER had to sit through the original, you have no right to enjoy the new series.

The worst thing about the old show was that retarded robot bear that little kid had. That thing gave me nightmares as a child :'-(

The themes brought up in the new BSG are very reminiscent of those in Too Human. Cyclical history, myth, blending future/past, technology vs. morality...
I loved how they wrapped it up in the end. Wonderful show.

I have to say this was the best finale of a show I have ever seen. Hopefully the people who make Lost and Heroes watched it and see how to do it properly. The show over its life built a very deep and complex character driven story and wrapped up in a nice package with almost no loose ends. I will definitely miss having it in my viewing schedule.

SPOILER and my one gripe below, highlight it to see it.

The only thing I didn't like was the way Starbuck just disappeared at the end, it left her story arc too vague at the end as to what/who she was and what happened to her at the end. Other than that I thought they wrapped up all the stories very well with very solid conclusions that fit the identity and storyline they created for every character.

That was actually a part of the ending that I liked. Very misterious yes but I kinda liked it that way. It gave super fanboys something to argue about till the end of time.
I did really like the modernized verson of the original theme that they played near the end of the show.

I loved the show all the way from season 1 up to the first hour of the last episode. I wasn't all that shocked that it ended that way, just disappointed that the writers became so predictable; I saw it coming.

I missed the first couple seasons then caught a marathon of the series one day and I was hooked. Great show and it will be greatly missed. I don't know of any other way they could have ended it.
