I don't get handicaps... I just play for fun, usually hit about a 45 or so in 9 at the city regulation course. Best I've gotten was a 38, pretty sure the par is 32, but that was after a week straight and I had a couple flukey shots.
I picked up a brand new ping X (I think) wedge early in the winter for 89.99 XD, haven't gotten to try it out yet though.

Hey, it is all about fun. I dont care about scores except when they are good. it doesnt matter if your good or bad. By the way, that is pretty good. I am on a team and I practice often so not bad for a person who plays sometimes

Moved over to the sports forum.
I never got into golf. When I was growing up no one I knew had left handed clubs and I didn't want to put the money into something I didn't know if I would like. Now I just have other things to eat up my time.
I wish I could golf well but I don't see it ever happening. I don't have the patience for it. :)

Does going to the driving range count?
I've never played on a course, just kinda hit the balls.

I hate watching golf. So boring. Playing however is fun.
Never actually played a real game though, but I've gone mini-golfing, and done the driving range.
Odd enough, I drive and putt lefty.

Golfing costs way too much money. I don't feel like putting a lot of money into it but i'm being forced to play so I might stick with it.

I love golf.... Played a few local tournys but never took anything home. Normally i get to drunk to care where my ball is going and chasing squirrels with the carts becomes more fun than the actual game.
But I do love to play and used to play alot back in the day...

I do not like it.
But that is because I stink.
It is difficult.

Most peoples problem with playing golf is that they try to hit the ball to hard...
Every one that I have ever taught tryies to go out there and nail the ball as hard as they can which screws up the proper form.
Hit it with regular streangth using the clubs weight and the ball always go straight. From that you can practice putting more umfff behind it while keeping the proper techniqe. After awhile it becomes natural untill beer is mixed... then theres no telling where the ball is going..

But hitting it hard is so satisfying though XD Until it slices off into the trees... I've been debating wether or not to bring my clubs to florida with me. They just take up soo much space...
