Currently I'm listening to:

I am listening to myself.. haha.. Working on my bands new EP is taking up most of my listening time these days.

But other than that I have found myself throwing in the first Jewel CD :confused: I am not a fan of her more recent stuff (too pop for me) but her first CD was mostly live accoustic and very interesting. I would have loved to see her live back before she got so pop.

Check this out - this is Medeski, Martin & Wood (http://www.mmw.net), the band I've mentioned a few times. They're pretty much the best group ever.

"Uninvisible (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuCXJlfeq7I)" - The only music video they've ever done. The quality is kind of choppy but the audio is fine, if a little muted.

"Anonymous Skulls (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nG7bmdPe6yU)" - for those who think music cannot be simultaneously dark and funky. Interested to hear what you metalheads think. :)

"Nocturne (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdYHNfjBEyk)" - A dark journey through a haunted funhouse; one of my all-time favorites. (Album version; not sure what the video is.)

"Note Bleu (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urG-79bdo2g)" - Marc Ribot is in with them on guitar for this one.

"Think (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3iyMC5nhfw)" - Deep grooves. This takes a couple minutes to get cooking, but stick to it.

Watching Monster Hunters, the most worthless show on earth. They crack me up though, they start the show off with all sorts sorts of info of why this animal exist and always end on evidence why this animal does not exist. They never find anything or prove anything and if there is any evidence to prove the theory, well its always unable to be scientificaly analyzed.

This might make for a good thread..... Ill leave that up to yall though. But anyway not listening to music right now.

That is a fair comment IMO.. Their songs due all share a similar structure and tone.. Mostly because they are really big about being able to duplicate the sound of their albums live, which is respectable.. but it would be nice to hear some diversity.. I am hoping for a little more of that on this new Album.

Not sure why to be honest, never listened to stuff like this before. Friend had a couple of their of their songs that I grabbed. Nice sorta, all happy music and such instead of the usual. Course Rise Against is still the best :p
